Organiser Jackie Winitkun said: “This Magic of Thailand festival is our first time in Bournemouth, in the past there was a Thai festival here before but it was a different organiser.
“For Magic of Thailand we have organised 10 different festivals across the country and this is the eighth one of the year, so it's our first time.
“We have had a good warm welcome from the people of Bournemouth especially the weather, we have brought the Thai summer to Bournemouth.
“For our first time it's not been too bad. We have had around 1000 people visit today and it grows every year so hopefully next year it will be even bigger.
“Tomorrow will be cloudier, so hopefully people will stay longer and enjoy the food.
“Magic of Thailand is about bringing Thailand to your doorstep, it's like a mini Thailand.
“We have food stalls here with lots of tasty food, we have Thai massages, we have boxing and we also have activities for children and one of the highlights is the lady boy shows which are more of a family friendly show.
"It's really spectacular, we had a great time and hopefully people will come back.”
Magic of Thailand are hosting festivals across the country this year including in Poole, Basingstoke, Manchester, Bournemouth, Brighton and London.
