POLICE are appealing for a Good Samaritan to come forward who intervened when a woman was grabbed in Poole.
The victim, a woman aged in her 30s, sustained a “substantial” bruise after being grabbed on the arm by a man she knew in Culliford Crescent, opposite the Asda petrol station in Canford Heath, at around 2.30pm on Thursday, August 11.
An unknown man who the victim had been talking to at the bus stop demanded the offender let go, which he did, before walking off in the direction of Adastral Road.
Police Constable Tom Ringer, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to this Good Samaritan who was at the bus stop and intervened in the incident to please contact Dorset Police as I believe you may have important information that could assist my enquiries.
“I would also ask anyone else who witnessed this incident, or captured anything of relevance on dashcam, to please contact me.”
