UPDATE: Peter was found by Dorset Police on Tuesday morning.
Officers are appealing for help from the public to find a man who has gone missing in Poole.
Peter Wetton, aged 73, was last seen at around 6.35am on Tuesday in Linden Road heading in the direction of Ashley Road on foot.
Peter is described as white, five feet eight inches tall, bald on the top of his head with white hair around the sides and of medium build. He was last seen wearing navy blue shorts, a light blue T-shirt and leather sandals.
Inspector Craig Tiernan, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Peter can become easily confused and we are keen to find him soon to make sure he is safe and well.
“I would ask anyone who has seen Peter, or a man matching the description given, to please urgently contact Dorset Police.”
