TWO days of live music and entertainment will come to Ashley Cross Green in Poole over the August bank holiday weekend.
The first ever 3 Acres Summer Gathering will feature music from headliners Finley Quaye, Mark Morriss from the Bluetones, the Ed Sheeran Experience tribute show and a host of top local talent on the support bill between 12pm and 9pm on Saturday and Sunday, August 27 and 28.
Festival director Ben Dyas said: “Ashley Cross is a lively, vibrant neighourhood and the Green is a wonderful space that serves it really well.
“We know how much local residents enjoy community events and are so pleased they’ve recognised 3 Acres is about bringing quality live music to what is effectively the front garden that everyone shares.”
As well as live music, 3 Acres has a full programme of children’s entertainment with highlights including the award-winning Mad4Animals show that sets out to educate young people about the amazing creatures it shares with audiences.
Comic magician Count Backwards, Jules the Entertainer with his balloon-based creations, and the super-skilled family showman Jamie Jambo are also on the bill.
Visitors will also find Pimm's, gin and Prosecco bars, craft beer, ciders and real ales and an array of mouth-watering street food from around the world.
Weekend tickets from £16 with day tickets from £9 for adults and £4 for children or £20 for a family of four. Visit 3acressummergathering.com.
