A ROAD closure was put in place following a crash on a busy Bournemouth road.

Emergency services were called to an incident on the Wessex Way on Friday morning.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 9.44am on Friday, August 19 to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the Wessex Way in Bournemouth.

“Officers attended with ambulance service. Road closed between Bournemouth West roundabout and LV roundabout.

“One driver is being taken to hospital as a precaution. Road reopened at around 11.40am.”
