NEW research suggests that drivers of vehicles in Dorchester are ranked amongst the top 10 most likely to fail their MOT.
Placing 10th on the list compiled by car lease comparison site Moneyshake with a 33.80% fail rate of all vehicles tested was Dorchester.
The research also indicates that those least likely to fail their MOT is drivers of vehicles in London Eastern Central with a 19.38% fail rate, whilst the title for most likely to fail falls on Kirkcaldy in Scotland, which has a 38.17% fail rate.

The most common reason that cars in Dorchester were failing their MOTs, with just under half failing for the same reason, was issues with lamps, reflectors and electrical equipment – making up 44.08%.
Other common reasons a car can fail its MOT include problems with suspension, brakes and tyres.
