An inquest is to be held following the sudden death of a teenager.
A teenage boy was found dead in Teddy Bear Woods, Weymouth, with emergency services attending the incident.
Police officers were called to the scene by a member of the public at 12.10pm on Tuesday, August 16.
Emergency services remained in the woodland area for some time.
The death of the teenager is not being treated as suspicious: the coroner and next of kin have been notified.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: “At 12.10pm on Tuesday, August 16 Dorset Police received a report of a sudden death of a teenage boy in Teddy Bear Woods, Weymouth.
“Officers attended and it was confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances. The coroner was notified.”
