TWO popular summer firework displays in Poole and Bournemouth will come to a close this week.
The dazzling free displays at Poole Quay and on Bournemouth seafront will wow the crowds for the final time on tonight (August 25) and tomorrow (August 26) respectively.
Poole’s Summer Fireworks on the Quay started on July 21 and has seen a free fiesta of family entertainment every Thursday ever since.
Visitors can enjoy a party atmosphere from 7pm featuring live music, street entertainment, activities and rides with the event culminating in a firework bonanza at 10pm.
The fireworks form part of the Festival Coast Live 2022 programme.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s display will end with a bang at 10pm on Friday.
The event draws thousands of spectators along the seafront and has been a staple in the seasonal calendar for several years.
This year’s spectacle started on August 5 with events taking place every Friday throughout August.
People will be able to watch the dazzling display anywhere along the seafront.
