A STUDENT at Talbot Heath School has completed her GCSEs while representing Team England in dog agility.
Isabella Cox collected her GCSE’s from Talbot Heath School and passed all of her subjects, despite spending the first week of her exams competing in the Netherlands.
Isabella studied for her GCSE exams while training weekly at Steph and Dalt Agility in Ringwood, and competing at events most weekends.
She then took time out of her exams to compete at the 10th Anniversary World Agility Open in May.
Isabella said: “It was quite stressful because I was away for the first week of my GCSEs so it was quite hard to know how I actually did in any of them because I missed the first paper of every subject.
“But I’m really happy with my results and going over to the Netherlands for Team England was really cool.”
16-year-old Isabella Cox and her border collie Dust competed at the 2022 World Agility Open in the Netherlands as one of five juniors selected from across the country.
Isabella and Dust made it through to the second round of the pentathlon on day two of competing and finished 10th in the final of the games section.
