At present, a trampoline park does not form part of the plans.
Although an exact opening date has not yet been established, Flip Out told the Echo that construction on the £2.5 million site will begin this autumn ahead of opening in the new year.
Speaking on the opening, Richard Bease, Flip Out CEO, said: “Our company mission is to build a business that grows with the community by creating a positive environment and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
“Flip Out offers active fun for everyone. We’re incredibly excited to be opening up a park in Poole, along with several more in the new year. We look forward to creating a high number of full and part time jobs for the people within each community.
“We look forward to sharing more information when we can.”

Subject to change when the site opens, a three-hour session at Flip Out will cost around £20 and the park will offer discounted family pass tickets.
Residents were quick to express their excitement at the announcement earlier this week, with many taking to social media. One man said: “If this is true everyone is going to love it I went to Flip Out in Wales a week ago and was it such a fun experience.”
One woman said: “About time Poole had something fun to do. Can't wait for this, please make it as accessible as possible.”
Another added: “I used to love Flip Out Portsmouth. This has made my day.”
BCP Council approved the project on Friday, August 19, after no objections were filed.
