FIREFIGHTERS rushed to extinguish a van fire on Friday night.
A crew from Verwood Fire Station was sent to the vehicle blaze in Parsonage Lane, Wimborne St Giles, at 9.30pm on August 26.
The emergency service team found a van well alight when they arrived at the scene. The fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets.
Meanwhile, on Friday afternoon a crew from Swanage were called to a skip on fire in the Purbeck town.
Hose reel jets were used to deal with the incident, preventing the fire from spreading to a nearby building.
