Firefighters had an early morning call-out to rescue a horse that had become stuck in a ditch.
Sherborne Fire Station was called at 4.56am, alongside colleagues from Poole, to Lillington in west Dorset.
Once at the scene they discovered a horse, called James, in a 3ft high sided ditch and unable to get out.
Crews used specialist equipment and a tractor to lift James out from the ditch.
Thankfully, with lots of hard work and determination, James managed to get back up on to his feet.
