TWO teenagers have been arrested after a 16-year-old boy was reportedly found with lacerations to his face and back.

The boy also allegedly had his bike stolen in the incident in Queens Park Avenue, Bournemouth.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police was called at around 4.30pm on Monday, August 29 to a report that a male victim with injuries was in Queens Park Avenue in Bournemouth.

“Officers attended and located the victim – a 16-year-old local boy – with lacerations to his face and back.

“He was taken to hospital by the ambulance service for treatment to injuries that are not life-threatening.

“It is reported that the victim was approached on Queens Park West Drive and assaulted. It is also alleged that the victim’s bike was stolen during the incident.

“A full investigation is underway into the incident and following enquiries, a 17-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man – both from Bournemouth – have been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.”
