A CHARITY helping vulnerable young people will be thanking one of its biggest supporters at this year’s Bournemouth Air Festival.
The Jon Egging Trust is set to celebrate ten years of support from the University Air Squadron (UAS), recognising the impact that UAS students have had on the charity’s work.
For ten years, students from UAS have volunteered their time to support the Jon Egging Trust in a number of ways, and have acted as role models for the young people the trust supports.
The charity was founded in 2011 by Dr Emma Egging following the tragic death of her husband, Red Arrows pilot Flt Lt Jon Egging, and is helping young people to realise their potential.
This support it has continually received from the UAS will be celebrated at the Bournemouth Air Show this week, with a Red Arrows Hawk Jet on display that the public will be able to explore.
There will also be students from the UAS on hand to raise awareness for the charity.
The Bournemouth Air Show will begin on Thursday, September 1, with a busy schedule up to late afternoon on Sunday, September 4.
