POLICE have successfully removed an unauthorised encampment in Creekmoor, Poole this afternoon.
On Wednesday, August 31 at 3.50pm Dorset Police received a report of travellers at Creekmoor Park and Ride.
Officers attended the site and found caravans already in situ.
An eviction notice was served to the travellers ordering them to leave the site, following liaison with local partners.

The group didn’t leave until this afternoon, at around 12.20 on Friday, September 2.
Reports soon followed that an unauthorised encampment was present at Turlin Moor
Officers attended and under section 60C of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, the group are now unable to return to the land within the next 12 months.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We have taken swift and robust action to clear these sites and I would like to thank the community for their patience while this took place.”
