EMERGENCY services are on the scene of a fire at a former cinema in Bournemouth town centre this afternoon.
Police and firefighters are attending the incident in Westover Road along with the ambulance service.
Three fire crews are in attendance after the fire was reported shortly after 4.30pm.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Firefighters are currently dealing with a fire in a derelict building in Westover Road, Bournemouth.
“We have three fire engines on scene from Springbourne, Redhill and Christchurch fire stations.
“The call was received at 4.33pm.”
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “At 4.34pm on Friday 2 September 2022 Dorset Police received a report of a fire at the old cinema in Westover Road.
"Officers and the fire service are attending.”
