AIR Festival fans will have the opportunity to meet some of the pilots orchestrating the special event.

Pilots will be meeting fans at the Marriott from 11am to 12pm on Saturday morning.

The always-popular Red Arrows pilots will be there, and ‘Red 10’ Graeme Muscat said the support was so important for the team.

He said: “It is important because generally through the season I’m the only one on the ground and it’s not that often they get the full complement of pilots.

“With all the pilots being there, it’s important we spend time with the public and all those that support us and they can ask their questions and meet certain individuals – they might have a particular favourite.

“I hope it inspires them and it’s really important.”
