A CAR crashed and overturned in the early hours of this morning in Bournemouth, with the male driver taken to hospital.
Residents of Bradpole Road were woken at around 2am on Saturday, September 3 to a Fiat Punto crashing and flipping on its roof.
One resident described seeing the incident as “serious” and that the road is usually a quiet one.
She added that police were quickly on the scene to remove a “young male driver” who was “uninjured”.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital as a precaution but he is not believed to have sustained any injuries.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Dorset Police received a report at 1.52am on Saturday 3 September 2022 of a collision in Bradpole Road in Bournemouth involving a black Fiat Punto that had reportedly collided with parked vehicles.
"A man aged in his 20s was taken to hospital as a precaution. He is not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
"The fire service also attended due to reports of smoke coming from the vehicle.
"The vehicle was made safe and recovered. Officers left the scene at around 4.30am.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
