STURMINSTER Newton Cheese Festival has announced that they will be going ahead with the event in celebration of the Queen's life.
The festival will take place this weekend (September 10-11) with the gates opening at 10am and closing at 5pm.
A spokesperson for Sturminster Newton Cheese Festival said: "We are very saddened by the news of the Queens death and our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.

"However, the Committee have made the decision that the Cheese Festival will go ahead this weekend, September 10-11 and we will celebrate her life.
In a note to traders, they said: "The marquees are up, and traders and producers are due to arrive from 12 noon today.
"Recent weather conditions have reduced access to the site, and we request that where possible people use the Ricketts Lane entrance.
"On site movements will be restricted to protect the ground so direct access to the tents is limited initially as the conditions are assessed. This means that vehicles may not be as close to tents as you would like."
