Christchurch Priory will host a service of Commemoration Thanksgiving for the life of Queen Elizabeth II tomorrow.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
A spokesperson from Christchurch Priory said: “With our fellow-citizens across the country and countless millions across the world, we mourn the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“Most of us have known no other monarch, so long has been her reign, and so steadfast her service.
“To Christchurch Priory, where for centuries people have come in times of joy and sorrow, hope and fear, we invite you all to come to pay your respects to Queen Elizabeth II.
“The Priory Church will be open from 8.00am till 9.00pm, to enable anyone who wishes to sign Books of Condolence, light a candle and say a prayer.
“You may also want to leave some flowers as a mark of your esteem and affection. Flowers may be placed on the grass to the left of the main entrance to the Priory.
“On Sunday September 11 at 3.00pm, there will be a service of Commemoration Thanksgiving for the life of Queen Elizabeyther II in the Priory. Everyone is welcome to attend.”
