THE Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE) has launched new Engineering Excellence Awards to give consultancy and engineering firms a national platform to showcase and promote their work.
The call for entries for the nine, mainly project-based awards is now open and submissions are invited for projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value and engineering excellence.
The awards cover the following categories:
- Transport
- Sustainability
- Water
- Low-Carbon Technology
- Property
- Research, Studies & Consulting
- Small Project (under £5m)
- Large Project (over £5m)
Engineering Ambassador Award ACE chief executive Nelson Ogunshakin said: "It's fitting that in a week when consultancy and engineering firms are prominent in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For listing, that ACE should launch these prestigious awards which recognise excellence in our sector.
"These sector-based awards offer a great opportunity for consultancy and engineering firms of all sizes to profile their work. Uniquely they recognise the diversity and breath of ACE's membership and the wide range of work they carry out, regardless of their size. We look forward to receiving entries in all nine categories from firms up and down the country."
The deadline for entries for the awards is Friday April 25. Award winners and runners up will be announced at the ACE Engineering Excellence Awards Gala Dinner in London on Wednesday June 25.
