HAVE you ever watched I'm A Celebrity... or a Ray Mears survival show and thought: I'd like to do that?
This summer you can.
The Anthony Nolan Trust and the Oakhaven Hospice Trust are searching for people to take part in their survival challenge in a lovely secret woodland location for five days starting from July 2.
You will give up your creature comforts and complete tasks like fire lighting, trapping and hunting, food bushcraft and navigation skills, thanks to expert survival instructors.
The event is open to anyone over 18 and will help the charities raise vital funds.
The Anthony Nolan Trust provides donors for leukaemia patients in need of bone marrow transplants in Dorset and Hampshire, and Oakhaven Hospice is in Lymington.
The entry fee is £75 and there is a minimum sponsorship £750 which you can raise between now and September.
Both Stella Foster from Oakhaven and Sharon Wells from the Anthony Nolan Trust, will support with fundraising ideas.
The Daily Echo would also like a volunteer to represent us and the nominated person will have their £75 entry fee reimbursed.
If you want to be that volunteer, mark your entry Daily Echo and submit it by April 15.
Sharon Wells, regional fundraiser for the Anthony Nolan Trust says "This is an amazing chance to discover the real you."
For details of how to enter, contact Sharon Wells on 01202 600629 or mobile 07909 907211 or email Sharon.wells@anthonynolan.org.uk, or Stella Foster on 01590 613038 or email stella@oakhavenhospice.co.uk.
