However grizzled they may be beginning to look, there's something that remains remarkably youthful about Supergrass.
Maybe it's the neon bright melodies, or the iceberg hooks? Possibly it's Gaz Coombs' knowing wink of a vocal sound; or perhaps it nearly always sounds like they're having the time of their lives.
Following the unwarranted dismissal of their last outing, the subdued Road To Rouen, this is Supergrass back to their lairy best. Channelling Bolan as shamelessly as ever, they've added Aladdin-era Bowie, early Roxy and Led Zep to the mix and the breathless opening blast of the glam-tastic title track is the perfect set up.
Although there isn't an obvious killer single and the thrills thin a little before the end, there's more killer than filler.
