This early outing from the noughties Brit pack (the likes of Simon Pegg, Julian Rhind-Tutt and Sally Phillips) was appar-ently on BBC2, albeit briefly. Never heard of it? Me neither.
There's a good reason for that. No second series was commissioned, the lazy, slapstick jokes and less-than-subtle American-style wit no doubt having something to do with that.
Nevertheless, this colourful sit-com from one of the writers of Father Ted still manages to get a few laughs and, more impor-tantly, foretells what is to come in the form of some our finest comedic actors.
Some genuinely funny bits, but the highlight of the disc is the 1970 footage of the David Frost show's hippy invasion.
