NATIONAL Express has expanded its airport connection coach services for the south coast amid growing demand.
Places including Bournemouth and Ringwood are set to become better connected as National Express launches additional scheduled coach services to London Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
Hitting the road from Monday September 19, the new services include:
- The 203 from Portsmouth - Heathrow airport, calling at Fareham, Southampton, and Winchester
- The 204 from Poole - Heathrow Airport, calling at Westbourne, Bournemouth, Ringwood, Southampton and Winchester
- The 205 from Poole - Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, travelling via Bournemouth and Ringwood
Hampshire-based Lucketts Travel will operate the new services on behalf of National Express, with fares starting from just £15.
John Boughton, commercial director at National Express, said: “As demand for travel grows, we’re building back our network to provide better connectivity for our customers in the south coast. The new coach services will take passengers straight to the terminal door, offering holidaymakers a more convenient, reliable and affordable option for travel.”
Operators say passengers can expect a “safe and comfortable experience” on board, with leather reclining seats, free wi-fi, air conditioning, USB power sockets and a luggage allowance of up to 20kg.
