POLICE have named the motorcyclist who died following a road traffic collision on the B3078 near Brook in the New Forest on Sunday.
Regan James Wilson, 22, of Hampreston, near Wimborne, died when his green Kawasaki motorcycle left the road and collided with a tree, as he travelled east along Roger Penny Way. No other vehicle was involved.
Officers from Hampshire Constabulary's road policing unit attempted to resuscitate Mr Wilson, who had suffered multiple head injures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Wilson, a deputy sales manager, had formerly studied at Queen Elizabeth School in Wimborne and the University of Reading, where he gained a degree in English.
A statement released by his family said: "Regan was a very outgoing person and lived his life to the full.
"He had many good friends and was part of a close family, mum, dad, and his two sisters. He was simply the best."
