A MAN has been convicted for stealing scratch cards from a hospital shop.
Barry William Clark, 30, pleaded guilty to a single charge of theft when he appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court.
The hearing on Thursday, September 15 was told that Clark stole £60 worth of scratch cards from the WH Smith store at Poole General Hospital.
The incident took place at the Longfleet Road site on March 31.
Magistrates ordered the defendant, whose address was given as Bloxworth Road, Poole, to pay £60 compensation to WH Smith.
