A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following an incident in Boscombe this afternoon.
Dorset Police received a report at 12.12pm on Sunday, September 18, that a man had been found with injuries in Walpole Road in Bournemouth.
A spokesperson for the service said: “The victim has sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment by the ambulance service.
“Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident and a cordon [was] in place to allow for an examination of the scene.
“Following enquiries, there is nothing to indicate any suspicious circumstances and the cordons have now been lifted.“

At least six police vehicles are situated around St Clements Road, Churchill Road and Walpole Road in Boscombe in relation to the incident, which left residents unable to leave their homes.
This incident occurred shortly before another incident in Charminster. According to police, the incidents are not being treated as linked.
