A MAN has been taken to hospital after sustaining stab wounds in Bournemouth this afternoon.
Dorset Police was called at around 1.50pm on Sunday, September 18, to a report that a man had sustained stab wounds in Charminster Road.
A police spokesperson said: “He is being taken to hospital by the ambulance service for treatment to injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Officers are in attendance and an examination of the scene is underway. Following enquiries, three people have been arrested in connection with the incident.”
Witnesses reported seeing three police cars as well as one ambulance in a section of Hankinson Road, just off Charminster Road.
A helicopter has also been reportedly circling the area above.
Police have also said the incident is not being treated as linked to another incident which took place in Boscombe earlier, in which a man was taken to hospital with ‘serious’ injuries.
