A MAN is due to appear in court in connection with a crash between a bus and a pedestrian which left a teenage girl with serious injuries earlier this year.
The pedestrian, a 15-year-old girl, was airlifted to hospital in Southampton following the incident in Lytchett Matravers on Monday, March 21.
Officers attended the crash in Wareham Road after it was reported to police at 4.08pm.
A 59-year-old man from the Dorchester area was arrested in connection with the incident.
Dorset Police said he has now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, September 28, for an offence of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit.
