A WOMAN has died following a suspected medical episode while travelling on a bus in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at 2.42pm on Tuesday, September 27, that a passenger on a bus had suffered a suspected medical episode in Poole Road.
The bus stopped outside the Premier Inn in Westbourne so the woman could receive medical attention while police cordoned the pavement off.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended along with the ambulance service and very sadly the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Her family has been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
