POLICE are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of a Bournemouth man who has not been seen since last week.
Darren Miller, aged 51, was reported missing on the morning of Saturday, September 24, having last been seen at an address in the West Howe area the previous evening.
He is described as white and five feet seven inches tall with black and grey shaved hair and tattoos on his knuckles. It was believed he may be wearing a dark-coloured hooded top and jeans.
Darren requires a walking stick so may be using a stick for support or walking with a limp.
Officers searching for him are appealing for information from the public to help find him.
Detective Constable Mike White, of Dorset Police’s missing person support team, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Darren’s welfare, particularly as it is believed he may not have access to medication he requires.
“I would urge anyone who has information relating to Darren’s whereabouts, or who has seen a man matching the description provided, to please make contact with us.
“I would also ask Darren if you see this to please get in touch with us or your family and let us know where you are. We just want to make sure that you are all right.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Darren's whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk/contact or by calling 101, quoting incident number 55220155936.
