I CANNOT believe the mentality of some of the antics within Dorset Council.
After many requests over a couple of years to take the tops off several trees for our neighbourhood so we can receive a television reception, we were told that this could not be possible.
Their answer was that we had to purchase a booster plug then we would get a reception.
After spending quite a bit of money to resolve the problem we have been told that we will never receive a signal until the few trees get a few feet chopped off the top.
Now we cannot watch our television on a normal system.
We do not want the trees taken down but a trim off the top to get a signal.
We had expert advice but the council have refused to budge.
Now I read that they have destroyed trees in Avon Heath just in case we get a storm. I know which party I and my neighbours will not be voting for in the next elections.
