Bournemouth’s top Christmas attraction is set to make a spectacular return this year - with new themes and more attractions for children.
Christmas Tree Wonderland will be returning to the town in less than eight weeks as one of the ‘undoubted highlights’ of the festive season.
The free attraction runs from mid-November to early January and boasts a spectacular trail of light installations through the town centre.
Now in its fifth year, Christmas Tree Wonderland will be returning with its iconic 60-foot walk through Christmas tree and a whole host of other spectacular light displays.
Also making a welcome return this year are the Christmas market, Alpine Bar and Skate ice-rink, as well as the well-loved reindeer and polar bears in the Lower Gardens.

Visitors can expect new themes including the Kyiv Christmas Tree in Pier Approach, the Lucerne Tree in the Gardens, and a new LED stepping zone trail as part of Picnic on the Piste.
There will also be new additions to Bournemouth Pier, including 60 glistening trees and a place for children to post letters to Santa.
Although the celebrations will not be held back amid rising energy costs, BCP Council has made assurances that they have worked to reduce the event’s energy usage.
They said that the lights being used in the festive installations have the lowest level of energy consumption, and that they are working further with the lighting contractors to look how consumption can be reduced further.
Councillor Beverley Dunlop hopes the Christmas calendar will create a ‘real sense of community’ across the conurbation. She said: “Christmas Tree Wonderland is one of our most exciting and much-loved attractions.
