A FARM in Dorset has created a motley group of farm animals, affectionately known as “their little superheroes”.
Farmer Palmers Farm Park in Organford recently created the new group, who were all previously rejected by their own kind.
The unlikely family, which has attracted visitors to the park in their droves, consists of Gingy the pig, Ducky the duck, Bramble the pigmy goat and Larry the lamb – their bond so special they cannot live without each other.
Animal barn leader Katie Lester decided to put them all in a pen together after they were rejected by their own kind and were very much an outsider. Now, they live a very happy life together as a family.
Katie said: “On the day Larry the lamb was booked in for his vaccinations, we kept him out the back to wait for our vet, rather than in the display pen.
“The other animals were so annoyed at being separated that they all quacked, oinked and bleated at full volume.
“Luckily Larry was back by lunchtime and peace was restored. Our regular visitors were quick to spot him missing though, this little band of brothers have become quite the celebrities around here.”
