FURIOUS residents woke up to find red paint sprayed on their cars and all over the road, after vandals went on a graffiti rampage.
Vandals spray-painted red paint on vehicles, walls, the pavement, the bus stop, lampposts, and benches in Redhill Drive, Bournemouth.
When Lucy, a resident, left for work on Friday morning, she found that her vehicle had been vandalised along with a number of her neighbours' cars.
Lucy said: "I went out to the car at 7:30am and found my car with a big red stripe down the side.
"They had also spray painted so much down the road, the bus stop, the wall outside the flats, other people’s cars, the pavement and a no entry sign.
"I was furious when I saw it, I can’t believe someone would do that to hard-working people’s stuff.
"The things they have spray painted appear to be completely random, it was definitely just a mindless act of vandalism.
"My insurance will cover the damage but I’ve got to pay an excess of £300."
Another resident who had his car vandalised mentioned that he now worries about living in the "unsafe" area after this incident.
Gabi said: "I feel sad this has happened and I also now fear about what can happen tomorrow, our cars burnt, our kids beaten, our neighbourhood unsafe."
