PARTS of Verwood has been seeing reports of anti-social behaviour from youths, with a ditch being left “full of rubbish”.
Officers from Dorset Police have been patrolling the recreation ground in Verwood after receiving reports of ASB.
One officer, after walking in a ditch between trees along Vicarage Road yesterday afternoon, found it to be full of rubbish.
Police will be visiting Verwood’s Tesco Express in Ringwood Road more regularly.
They have also been working with Verwood Town Council and the community safe team at Dorset Council regarding Vicarage Road and the surrounding area and are working towards making it safer for the people using it.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Please report information to us on https://crowd.in/HisMyu or 101.
“We will follow up with any young person or adult involved in ASB and their family if appropriate. This is done jointly with the community safety team. However we need your help and reports please.”
