POLICE have released images of a man they would like to identify, after a woman was sexually assaulted in Bournemouth town centre.
A man and a woman were walking in St Peter’s Road on Sunday, September 18, at approximately 11.45pm when a group of men approached them.
It is reported one of the group inappropriately touched the female victim over her clothing and then kicked the male victim in the leg, causing him to fall to the ground.
The victims challenged the man and the group subsequently ran away.
Police Constable Eszter Sabik, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am continuing to investigate this incident and have now obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to identify.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him, or may have information about his identity, to please get in touch.
“I fully appreciate the images are not of the best quality, but I am hoping they may jog someone’s memory and provide information to help the investigation.”
