It's the story which has gripped the conurbation and dominated conversation around the dinner tables in BCP households across the area.
Okay, well, maybe not quite, but the mystery of Tuckton roundabout's yellow lines certainly got a few of you talking last week.

Ward councillor Eddie Coope, who represents east Southbourne & Tuckton, did not know the reason for the double yellows and pointed out that the same lines ran along Tuckton bridge.
And BCP Council also couldn't shed light either, except to say: “These lines are shown on the TRO map, so they are required to be in place. The recent refreshing of the lines has simply highlighted them to residents.
“We can only guess that perhaps originally there was an issue with drivers parking on the centre of roundabout.”

However, since we ran the article last week, one person has been in touch to say they have been there for 30 years.
It appears the lines were painted as a mistake, and then just repainted recently.
When we put the latest information for BCP Council, a spokesperson said: "I have been told that we no longer have access to the original decision record, so I am afraid we can’t confirm either way."
What other local quirks or mysteries have you spotted around BCP? We'd love to hear them!
