GROWTH, growth, growth is what has come out of the Conservative Party conference as Liz trumps her way to every platform.

Yet whilst she speaks of ‘growth’ everything around us is vastly declining – our NHS including all social care, GPs and dentistry. Our essential workforce on low or zero hour contracts relying on benefits and food banks to keep them going.

The decline of our police service, military, ambulance and fire services.

Working people, unemployed, sick, disabled and homeowners all facing extensive outgoings to their monthly income. Not forgetting that this is not a new government – but the same lot that have been in power for the past twelve years.

Growth, growth, growth Liz – means for the wealthy and not for the ordinary likes of you or me.

My solution is more people should vote and not just complain.

Turnout is often low with the elderly being more prominent.

Younger people just don’t bother and that is why they get left out. All parties rely on votes so tend to cater only to their voting audience.

So if it is ‘growth’ that is really needed – then it should be the growth of many more people voting for who they really want to run our future country.

Even a ‘none of the above’ is a recorded vote and protest which is far better than a ‘no-show’ which says nothing.
