McVitie's has expanded its repertoire of treats, as it is bringing back a flavour of Digestives that were taken off shelves three years ago, as well as introducing a new flavour Hobnobs.
Caramel Digestives are now back in supermarkets after being taken off shelves back in 2019.
They had first been introduced in 1999, but due to popular demand they have been added back by McVitie's due to "leaving a biscuit shaped hole in the hearts of biscuit-lovers across the nation".
Alongside that, a new flavour of Hobnobs is being introduced in Coconut Macaroon, which joins other flavours like Dark Chocolate to the most recent Sticky Toffee Pudding.
In a statement McVitie's said: "McVitie’s Hobnobs Coconut Macaroon contain all the crunchy goodness we know and love, made with 100 percent wholegrain oats, smothered in chocolate, and now infused with the irresistible flavour of creamy Coconut Macaroon. You’d be coco-nuts not to try them…"
Simon Worne, Marketing Director at McVitie's said: We’re very excited to introduce another brand-new flavour to the Hobnobs family, as well as bringing back a fan favourite with the relaunch of Caramel Digestives.
"We’re always looking to offer tasty variations of the classics for biscuit-lovers to enjoy, and these two are no exception!”
Coconut Macaroon Hobnobs will be able to be purchased in supermarkets like Sainsbury’s, Co-Op, and Waitrose from November for £1.75 per pack.
Meanwhile the Caramel Digestives will be in supermarkets like Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland, Co-Op, and Waitrose from the end of October for £1.79 per pack.
