READY, set, glow!
Runners shone brightly for a special event on Bournemouth seafront on Saturday night.
Hundreds of runners put their best foot forward for the Supernova 5k as part of Run Bournemouth which is taking place this weekend.
The popular race which is held at dusk sees participants encouraged to wear lights, head torches or fluorescent clothing in a bid to light up the night.

The seafront was awash with colour and light as runners of all ages donned bright tutus, high vis tops and face paint as they raced at speed along the prom and Bournemouth Pier.
The Supernova 5k is one of seven events that features as part of the annual Run Bournemouth event.
Saturday saw a number of children’s races for youngsters ranging from three to 18-years-old.

Events included the kids’ kilometre along with junior 1.5k, 2k and 5k events.
This morning a Supersonic 10k and Half Marathon will set off from Hengistbury Head and finish in the Lower Gardens.
