EMERGENCY services have responded to a concern for welfare incident involving a person on a bridge in Bournemouth.
Police received a report shortly after 4pm on Tuesday of an individual on a bridge over the A338 between the Cooper Dean Roundabout and the Blackwater Junction.
Officers attended and held traffic on the road whilst the incident was dealt with.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 4.15pm raising concern for the welfare of a person on a bridge over the A338 between the Cooper Dean Roundabout and the Blackwater Junction.
“Officers attended and they were taken to safety shortly after 4.20pm and given appropriate care.”
