POLICE are investigating a sexual assault in a nightclub in Bournemouth.
At around 11.50pm on Saturday, May 28 the victim – a woman aged in her late teens – was out with friends when she met a man in Halo in Exeter Road.
When they sat down together, it is reported that the man touched the victim inappropriately.
Police have only just released CCTV images of a man they would like to identify in connection with the incident.
Police Constable Iain Leslie, of Bournemouth police, said: “This was an upsetting incident for the victim and we have been carrying out an investigation since the incident was reported to identify the man responsible.
“We have conducted numerous enquiries so far, but unfortunately these have not proved successful and we are now in a position to issue CCTV images of a man we would like to identify.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact Dorset Police.”
