A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after a stop and search unearthed class A drugs.
Police first spotted a “suspicious-looking” white Vauxhall Insignia in Stem Lane, New Milton, on the evening of Wednesday, October 12.
The vehicle was stopped and the male driver was detained for a search during which evidence of suspected drug dealing was located.
A 25-year-old driver has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
The Vauxhall was also seized after police discovered it was driving without road tax.
A Lymington and New Milton Cops spokesperson said: “We are passionate about reducing criminality in this town and we acknowledge all reports to police about local issues.”
