A MAN was taken to hospital in Poole yesterday evening after he fell around 10ft from a balcony.
Police received a report at 8.17pm on Sunday, October 16 raising concern for the welfare of a man.
A fire crew and paramedics attended the scene, which happened in flats in Wimborne Road, Poole.
The man was taken to hospital after sustaining injuries, but they are not believed to be life threatening.
Police say there were no reports of offences and will not be investigating further.
Diversions were put in place by Morebus, whose services were disrupted by the road closure.
Diversions are in place on the 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 because of a Police road closure by Joint Emergency Services on Wimborne road.

Services will divert via Longfleet road and Fernside road.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 8.17pm on Sunday 16 October 2022 raising concern for the welfare of a man who was reported to have fallen from a balcony in Wimborne Road in Poole.
“The man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.
“Officers carried out enquiries at the scene. There were no reports of any offences and there is no further police investigation into this incident.”
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to Denmark Court on Wimborne Road, Poole at 8.33pm to assist someone who had fallen approximately 10ft onto a flat roof.
"Crews from Poole and Westbourne, plus a technical rescue team from Poole and the aerial ladder platform from Westbourne, were mobilised and the casualty was brought to safety by 9.24pm."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 20:34hrs on Sunday 16 October to an incident in Poole. We sent a double-crewed land ambulance, two operations officers, a rapid response vehicle and a critical care car and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole Hospital.”
