THOUSANDS of pounds worth of items were stolen from a clothes shop in east Dorset.
Berties Country Store in Crown Mead, Wimborne, was raided in the early hours of the morning by burglars.
Entry was forced to the premises and items worth an estimated £5,000 were stolen.
Police officers investigating the burglary, which took place at around 2am on Friday, September 9, have issued an appeal on Monday, October 17, for information as well as images of a vehicle that is believed to be involved.
Police Constable Ashlea Gale, of East Dorset police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this burglary and we have obtained CCTV images of a vehicle we believe may be linked to this offence.
“I appreciate the images are not the best quality and we have been unable to make out the registration of the vehicle. However, I am hoping it may jog someone’s memory if they have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area.
“I would urge anyone with information relating to this incident to please contact us.”
