A LARGE section of Horseshoe Common in Bournemouth has been cordoned off after a woman was allegedly raped.
Police received a report a woman had been raped by a man in the area of Horseshoe Common in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, October 20.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
Cordons are currently in place and police say there will be an increased police presence in the area.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at around 12.35pm on Thursday 20 October 2022 that a woman had been raped by a man in the early hours of that morning in the area of Horseshoe Common in Bournemouth.
“It was further reported that the victim had been raped by the same man at an address in Boscombe.
“Detectives have launched a full investigation into this incident and a 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
“Cordons have been put in place at the locations of the reported offences as enquiries continue.
"The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers.”
There will be an increased police presence in the vicinity and officers can be approached by members of the public with any information or concerns.
