A 31-YEAR-OLD man who was arrested on suspicion of raping a woman has been released under investigation as detectives carry out further enquiries.
Yesterday a large section of Horseshoe Common in Bournemouth town centre has been cordoned off after a woman was allegedly raped. The cordon has since been removed.
Police received a report a woman had been raped by a man in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, October 20.
It was further reported that the victim had been raped by the same man at an address in Boscombe.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at around 12.35pm on Thursday 20 October 2022 that a woman had been raped by a man in the early hours of that morning in the area of Horseshoe Common in Bournemouth.
“Detectives have launched a full investigation into this incident and a 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
“The victim is being supported by specially-trained officers.”
