ROADWORKS at Tuckton Roundabout are causing delays for drivers this afternoon.
The roadworks started today and are due to finish on Thursday, October 27.
Work is being carried out by CityFibre and involve multi-way traffic signals being used.
Bus operator Morebus said it is seeing delays to its services as a result of the roadworks.

Posting on Twitter shortly before 3pm, a spokesperson said: “Due to roadworks at the Tuckton Roundabout we are seeing delays to our 1 and 1b services, due to traffic congestion in the area, delays are also expected to our 1a services.

However, roadworks are also being carried out in nearby Belle Vue Road and Wick Lane which is adding to the issues.
They will also be in place until October 27 and are being carried out by CityFibre.
One person on social media described the situation as “gridlock” while another branded the work as “total nonsense” for being carried out during half-term.
Traffic updates service Inrix is reporting slow traffic both ways at Tuckton Roundabout.
